tryhard
This is probably unnecessary. Idk. We happen to sit next to this girl who, according to the advice of the lecturer, happen to own a physical textbook. My friend quipped: "she seems like a tryhard". It is most likely an innocuous remark and perhaps I am a former tryhard so I was offended but I do not see how owning a physical copy makes someone appear a tryhard. Doesn't that just mean she is doing her duty as a student (and perhaps has a preference for a physical copy?).
Am I thinking too deep on this? No, yeah she is a tryhard.
