This track by Frank Ocean never fails to make me laugh. Everything about it is iconic. The accent, the content, the placement of the track in the album.
Clearly the relationship wasn't meant to be if a mere matter of 'following each other on Facebook' was going to break the couple apart.
It reminds me of those intimate voicenotes you'd get from the guys especially the line towards the end:
That's, it means, like, it's jealousy, pure jealousy For nothing, you know? Virtual thing
Massive cope.
Then the music cuts to 'Close To You'. The moment the guy realized 'being on the right side' didn't matter anymore when he's lost a relationship.
As you can tell, I don't skip this track :)
