'are you even listening?'
Let me write down another phrase I loathe hearing growing up. This can probably be linked to my previous post, 'what's going on in your head?'. Sitting for family dinner was tough back then because I'd say a lot of 'huhs' and 'what?' to parts of conversation. Don't ask me why I struggle listening to these conversations though. What I hated the most weren't the annoying phrases but the faces they'd make. The face of looking like they were disrespected, faces with contempt and annoyance. Or when they'd shout at your face so you can hear better. That totally works, 10/10 highly recommend. I truly hope no one ever gets to experience hearing impairment smh.
